Fees & Payment
We make every effort to keep down the cost of your child’s dental care. Our fees are competitive with those of other pediatric dentists in the Greater Boston area.
If your child’s treatment plan requires several visits, you will be given a written estimate and asked to make financial arrangements with a member of our business staff. In all cases, however, your child’s treatment plan will be discussed with you prior to proceeding.
If no definite financial arrangements are made, full payment is expected at the time of each visit.
Insurance
We are in network ‘participating dentists’ in many dental insurance plans including but not limited to: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, Harvard Pilgrim, United Concordia, and United Healthcare. Call our office for additional information regarding your insurance and whether or not our office participates in your plan. Please be sure to bring your current dental insurance ID card with you whenever you visit.
Most dental benefit plans are negotiated between your employer and insurance carrier and are designed to cover only a portion of your total cost. Any coverage you have helps by reducing your out of pocket expense. Our business staff is very knowledgeable about dental insurance. They will work with you to determine the extent of your coverage and to help you receive your maximum allowable benefits. It is your responsibility, however, to pay any balance not covered by insurance.
